The Gwili Steam Railway is a standard gauge, preserved steam railway in the heart of the Gwili Valley. Take a step back in time as you travel along a section of track on the former Carmarthen to Aberystwyth Branch Line.

You will board the train at Bronwydd Arms Station, here you will find a fully working restored Signal Box, a small signaling museum and a well stocked Souvenir Shop. As you travel up the line in the 'Harry Potter' style coaches, you will be reminded of those old days when the pace of life was far more relaxed.

At Danycoed halt you will have the opportunity of watching the engine move from one end of the train to the other, and see fireman struggle as he lifts those very heavy couplings. Then its 'all aboard' to return to Llwyfan Cerrig Station, here you will find the miniature railway, riverside picnic site, the former Felin Fach station building moved to this site by Gwili Volunteers. Here is a perfect opportunity to have a chat with the driver, and if you speak to him nicely he might let you blow the Whistle!
