High Tea with Prosecco
Board the steam train for a unique celebration to enjoy with family and friends. Your High Tea will be served in the bar coach of our dining set, a nostalgic setting for full table service high tea to remind you of a gentler era with a glass of Prosecco adding a continental twist to a very Welsh tradition.
Your High Tea includes a glass of Prosecco, a selection of sandwiches ( with vegetarian options, ), a slice of Bara Brith with Welsh salted butter, a cake or dainty, a cream tea (2 scones, Welsh salted butter, Gwili preserves and clotted cream), freshly brewed loose leaf Welsh tea or fresh coffee.
If the first glass of prosecco wet your appetite, then further alcoholic or soft drinks can be purchased from the bar.
The round trip takes about an hour and a half.
Adults £25, Children (3-15yrs) £15
Under 3s travel FREE though no high tea is provided. Non alcoholic alternatives will be offered to under 18s. No group discounts or other concessions apply to the High Tea with Prosecco service.
Be cosy on a table for two or meet new friends or bring your own and book on a table for four.
Only service dogs are allowed in the Bar Coach.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your train departs to allow time to park in our FREE car park, visit the Ticket Office and shop for a guide to your trip and cross over to the platform.
A £1.50 booking fee is applied to all bookings.
Access for Wheelchairs Pushchairs and Prams
Wheelchairs can board the train via a ramp into the Guard's Van however the doorways of this heritage carriage are narrow and so wheelchairs and wide pushchairs cannot access the bar coach itself so to reach the seating area will require a short walk. If you are in any doubt, please speak to the office before booking. 01267 238213 or email us.
Food allergies and intolerances
Please let us know of any food allergies or intolerances you or your guests may have when booking your High Tea with Prosecco. We are keen to accommodate alternative diets whenever possible. Please phone or email your requirements 01267 238213 or email us using the Contact Form.
