Join us for this extra-special running day featuring two locomotives built at the famous Swindon Works, home of the Great Western Railway.

No. 7812 Erlestoke Manor – Built in 1939 by the Great Western Railway in Swindon. The engine was based for a period at Aberystywth and represents a class of locomotive commonly seen on our line in the 1950s and 1960s. This is its last appearance prior to returning to the Severn Valley Railway – so take a ride while you can!

D2178 – Rarely used for passenger services on our line, D2178 is a class 03 locomotive. It worked across the West Country including at Plymouth during a relatively short operational life, before being sold to industry in 1970.

Trains on this day depart at 10:45, 13:00 and 15:15. Rover tickets are valid for all three trains so you can take multiple journeys if you wish.

Kids For A Quid! Up to two free per paying adult.
