Road & Rail Steam

Join us for an exciting weekend of road and rail steam at Gwili Railway. There will be lots to see and enjoy.

Journeys are operating over the full length of our railway and there will be a range of road steam and commercial vehicles on display at Abergwili Junction.

Wickham Trolley Rides
Visiting for this event is Wickham W38 – a former railway inspection vehicle that offers a very different journey along our line.

Departs Abergwili Junction on a return journey to Bronwydd Arms at 11:10, 13:40 and 16:10.

Tickets are priced at £5 per person and just five people can be accommodated on each trip. These can be added onto your main booking online.

Driver for a Fiver
Get your hands on the controls of one of our vintage diesel shunters at Abergwili Junction for just £5 per person! Tickets purchased on the day in our shop. Age 18 and above.

Cab Ride
Alternatively, you can enjoy a short journey in the cab of our heritage diesel, also at Abergwili Junction, for £2 per person. Tickets purchased on the day in our shop. Age 16 and above.

We’re looking for exhibitors too – you can contact us by emailing [email protected] – some space for living vans or similar and camping is available for exhibitors.

Dogs are welcome at this event.
